92 Points - 2012 Angel Camp Vineyard Anderson Valley Estate Grown Pinot Noir
Complex and tantalizing aromas of mint and cinnamon carry over to the palate, where  bright plum, red cherry and floral tones linger through the finish. The texture is very smooth since  the tannins and acidity are mild and well integrated. —J.G. abv: 13.8%

July 2014 - Connoisseurs’ Guide

One Puff  88 points - 2013 Angel Camp Anderson Valley Estate Grown Pinot Noir Blanc
…the Angel Camp Pinot Noir Blanc again wanders outside of conventional rose lines, and, in both scent and fast, it quietly hints at varietal cherries with a similar smattering of stony spice.  It is the slightly bigger and deeper wine (than Balo’s), and, if not quite as crisp as its lively companion, it is agreeably balanced and will make delectable drinking with simple roast chicken.

May 2014 - Huffington Post’s Brad Haskel writes about ‘an Indomitable Spirit’

I asked Brian about his background: What motivated him to start in wine?

May 2014 – ‘Excerpt’ from Connoisseurs’ Guide by Stephen Eliot

…during the Anderson Valley Pinot Festival when, as a part of an enlightening, day-long technical conference, Dan Goldfield from Dutton Goldfield, Anne Moller-Racke of Donum and Angel Camp estate-vintner, Brian Zalaznick, presented Pinot Noirs grown in one of the valley’s preeminent sites, Mr. Zalaznick’s Angel Camp Vineyard. Each of the participants talked, as well they should, of their high regard for the site and the vineyard management practiced therein. All of the wines were quite good and are highly recommended to all of those with a passion for fine Pinot, …

July 2013 - Angel Camp Releases First Vintage

It is with great pride and pleasure that we announce the release of our first vintage from Angel Camp Vineyards.   Angel Camp Vineyard is located in Anderson Valley approximately 100 miles north of San Francisco. We planted nine different clones of Pinot Noir grapes on twelve acres in 2006. Our 2011 harvest produced 250 cases of Pinot Noir along with small quantities of Vin Gris and Pinot Noir Blanc. Thanks to the reputation of our vineyard and winemaker Jon Keyes, (Rivers Marie and Sin Qua Non) we have already sold half of our wine. We are so thankful for all of your support on this journey!    With gratitude, Brian Zalaznick and Cindy Storman

June 2013 - Angel Camp Top 10 wine at Anderson Valley Pinot Festival

A late addition to the Press Tasting, the 2011 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir was the first of the alphabetical tasting and set a high bar right off the bat. This debut appearance of the first vintage, picked in a year that threw all kinds of weather curve balls, featured a pleasant nose and smooth, balanced berry flavors.
