Phillip Baxter – Consulting Winemaker
Now in his fifteenth harvest, winemaker Phillip Baxter has devoted his career to Pinot Noir. After graduating with a degree in Viticulture & Enology from UC Davis, he travelled to Burgundy to work under Pascal Marchand at Domaine de la Vougeraie. He set his sights on his own single vineyard program on home soil. He has been running Baxter Winery as winemaker for ten years in the Anderson Valley, as well as consulting for several wine brands. His wines consistently gain excellent reviews, and were recently listed in Wine Enthusiast’s article ‘Americas Best Pinot Noirs’.
